Budget Profile

This section presents the comprehensive money flow data of the Union Budget 2019-20.It presents both the sources of revenue of the Union Government and the expenditure commitments it has made on different heads.

Note: Percentage changes have been calculated with respect to 2018-19 Budget Estimate Figures. The figures for total Union Budget Expenditure, for budget estimates of 2018-19 and 2019-20, include Funds collected from GST Compensation Cess, which are transferred to a non-lapsable fund in the Public Account. Moreover, the figure for total receipts is taken net of fund transferred to the National Calamity Contingency Fund.
